What type of website do I need for my business?

At Barry Design we can build a website to any size and structure to suit your business type. Below we have divided it up into three main types of web builds.

Standard Brochure Site

Traditionally every company would produce a printed brochure to outline, in a few pages, the key areas of business they offer, along with images of their premises, products and details of how to contact them. The standard website allows you do all that with the added advantage that the site is ‘live’ and can be updated regularly using a basic CMS or Content Management System. Most people now will search online for products and services so whatever business you’re in you must have at least a standard website like this to have some presence online. Medium CMS website

Suitable for those organisations who require a more detailed explanation of their product range. Larger companies with many products and services will require a larger site with many more interactive features. The key element here is the CMS or Content Management System: this allows you to be able to update all parts of the site yourself, thus avoiding any further costs from the web designer. At Barry Design we can build a CMS site to any size and specification and we’ll provide full training on how to use the CMS plus plenty of technical support along the way as you need it. Online webstore (E-Commerce or Shop-On-Line)

If you want to sell anything online direct to your customers you’ll need a very different website set up. A good online shop will have easy to navigate product lists, images and descriptions, shopping basket, up-selling prompts, full payment system, multi search facilities, etc. Barry Design can create a full online shop that can be easily updated and managed. A well designed CMS (Content Management System) is crucial to maintaining the online shop. The CMS can offer endless capabilities in managing products, pricing, special offers, promotions, discounts, manage customer records, produce email marketing, newsletters, payments, shipping and so on.
